One Line Drawings
One Line a Day began as a grounding daily ritual during maternity leave - a way to spend a few uninterrupted minutes each day reconnecting with myself and my creativity. Each drawing is created in a single, continuous line - drawn without lifting the pen, marker, or digital stylus from the surface. This simple constraint became a powerful practice in presence, expression, and discipline. I carried this project through the first year after the birth of each of my children, creating a visual diary of 728 gestures, thoughts, and moments - one uninterrupted line at a time.
